POST Management Update
This three day management update is specifically designed for middle and top managers working in law enforcement agencies who seek to strengthen their leadership, change management and facilitation skills. Emerging best practices in police management will be examined. Participants will also examine operational efficiency and how the old cliché of "doing more with less" is no longer viable nor is the notion that more resources doing the same old thing will produce a higher level of service. Hostage Survival
This one day course examines real life hostage situations in the corrections environment and provides participants with proven hostage survival strategies. The course focuses on being aware of the environment, emphasizes tactical surveys, discusses corrections in the 21st century and explains the "Stockholm Syndrome" and how to use it to your advantage.
